Power Touches Meeting Agenda!

Here is a sample of what a power touches meeting consists of.
7:30 am to 7:45 am – Open Positive Networking This is an opportunity to socialize with other business owners and salespeople who are attending the group networking event. This is a time to introduce yourself and your company to other members and network before the meeting gets started.
7:45 am to 7:50 am – Call Meeting to Order & Introductions First we will introduce new members and guests. Then everyone will get 30 sec. to introduce themselves, the company they are with and what they do.
7:50 am to 8:00 am – Power Touching This is a time when you get to know someone else in the group by having a power touches session with them. Every attendee must place their business card in the Power Touches Box. Once everyone has been placed in the box the names are drawn at random by the secretary, paired up and written down for record keeping. Each person receives 5 minutes to tell the other person what their company does and why they choose to be in their individual industry. There will be a series of questions in case conversation becomes stagnate.
8:00 am to 8:05 am – Founders Report The Founder of the group will now discuss upcoming events, socials, outside events that members should try attending. The Founder will also discuss the networking leads that are being passed among members. They will discuss whether the leads are having a 70% conversion ratio that is stated in the strategy to success.
8:05 am to 8:10 am - Group Presenter Someone from the group will have 5 minutes to present their products or services that they offer. Each member will know at least 2 weeks in advance. They should come prepared and also have a door prize.
8:10 am to 8:15 am – Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer will discuss the group’s financial position and will bring to the table the cost of advertising the group in different medias. The group will later vote on the advertising opportunities to decide the best way to attract new members to the organization.
8:15 am to 8:25 am – Book of the Month Discussion The Power Touches book of the month discussion is the time when the group discusses what they learned from the group chosen book of the month.
8:25 am to 8:35 am – Power Touching II This is a time when you get to know someone else in the group by having a power touches session with them. 8:35 am to 8:45 am – Speaker Presentation The speaker each week will be either a group member or someone that will bring valuable information to the group. The speaker will have 8 minutes to do their presentation and then 2 minutes for a Q & A Session.
8:45 am to 8:55 am – Referral Passing/Drawing We will pass referrals within the group and anyone who has passed a referral is eligible for the referral drawing.
8:55 am to 9:00 am – Door Prizes These drawings will be given by the presenter or the speaker and are available to anyone who attends the networking event. Then we will end with a positive quote.
